India Day (Friday the 9th, 2011)
Today is Friday the 9th and my last day of the PTM and of course we had a torrential rain storm and the 15 minute drive from hotel to PTM took over an hour because of the copious amounts of water on the road, stalled vehicles and mass of humanity trying to get to work and etc.
After I arrived I was stuck in front of Pragati Maidan, so I decided to walk to the venue.

However, I had to roll up my suite pants to above my knees and carry my leather loafers to wade through the knee high standing water that was a moat in front of the venue. once I walked past the cars in the background the water went up to my knee.

Of course there was a huge delay in starting of today's session, so I had several un-scheduled meetings like the one here with an amazing resort in Thailand.

After finishing the 38 scheduled meetings and almost 20 un-scheduled meetings in 3 days it was time to head back to my hotel, freshen up and then attend the farewell dinner at the Ashok hotel, Delhi.
On the way to my hotel, we drove past the Delhi High Court and to the left is gate 5.

A little farther on we passed the India gate.
After the final dinner I decided to venture out and found a local Indian restaurant near my hotel and I had a beer and a small appetizer since the PATA dinner was not the most appealing dinner I had.
I tried out the panoramic picture option on the camera...pretty cool but too small to see well on this blog post...
Saturday morning my whirl-wind tour of the golden triangle of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur starts and looking forward to seeing more of the country and to trying more local Indian food!
